Visiting the Aerospace Department 

Aerospace tours are available this semester and will be conducted by our Aerospace Ambassadors. Ambassadors are specially selected students who are trained to be able to share important information about the Department’s programs of study, equipment, and facilities. 

To fully explore our Aerospace Department, visitors are encouraged to attend two separate experiences: an on-campus information session and a tour at the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport. These tours are scheduled separately. Each Department Information Session will last approximately 1 hour and each Airport Tour will last approximately 30 minutes. Each session will provide ample time for addressing participant questions. 

Virtual information sessions and large group tours are not scheduled through the forms below. Please contact Aerospace@mtsu.edu to arrange a special group tour or virtual information session.

Please note that the listed tour times are subject to change and you should always refer to the times and details listed in your most recent confirmation email. 

Summer 2026 Weekly Tour Schedule 

Summer tours will run May 18 – August 7. No tours will be offered May 25, June 19, July 3, and July 16-27 or any day the university may be closed.

Saturday Tours 

In addition to participating in university Preview Days the Department of Aerospace will offer select weekend tour dates.
